At Mr Apple, our coolstore operation plays a critical role in delivering premium fruit to customers around the world. We're looking for a Logistics Administrator to join our Hastings Coolstore team and help ensure product is accurately tracked, stored and ready for the next stage of its journey.
Working closely with the Logistics & Operations Manager and wider operations team, you'll combine administration, inventory coordination and on-floor collaboration to keep product flow running smoothly. This is a hands-on role offering variety, responsibility and the opportunity to learn across logistics, quality and coolstore operations.
What You'll Be Doing:
You'll be at the centre of product movement and inventory coordination, ensuring information is accurate and operations stay on track.
- Coordinate stock movements and storage locations within the coolstore
- Create and manage work orders and inventory records
- Monitor product receivals, stock accuracy and system integrity
- Support quality inspections, labelling activities and post-packing requirements
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, damaged product and inventory issues
- Maintain operational reporting, data requests and administration activities
- Collaborate with quality, operations, sales and logistics teams
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and site projects
What You'll Bring:
We're looking for someone organised, detail-focused and confident working with systems and data.
- Administration experience and computer literacy
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Confidence working with inventory or stock management systems
- A proactive attitude and willingness to spend time both in the office and on the coolstore floor
- Previous logistics, inventory, warehousing or supply chain experience is advantageous but not essential
