The role of the Inventory Technician is to help the Inventory Coordinator receive and document all of CITE’s inventory.
Job Description
The Student Worker—Center for IT Excellence Inventory Technician position will help the Inventory Coordinator receive, document, and manage all East Texas A&M CITE inventoried assets.
Responsibilities would include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Follow and execute all CITE inventory processes
- Physically move inventory items (needs to be able to lift at least 50 lbs.)
- Physically receive inventory into the CITE storeroom
- Efficiently document inventory changes in the asset management software system
- Assist with on-location asset auditing
- Assist with the CITE replenishment program
All positions are security-sensitive.
