Executive/Senior Executive (Revenue) (Contract)

[What the role is]

You will be part of the Finance team handling Accounts Receivable functions.

[What you will be working on]

Your responsibilities include the following:

Performing daily bank reconciliation and escalating discrepancies which may indicate underlying system issues to IT or system vendors.
Attending regular meetings with IT and external vendors and providing Finance's operational input.
Assisting in troubleshooting system issues affecting day-to-day Finance operations.
Working with IT and vendors to investigate and resolve operational system issues.
Reviewing system workflows and highlighting gaps or control issues for follow-up.
Providing ground-level operational support for cross-functional system and process improvement initiatives; and
Monitoring system interfaces, identifying failed or incomplete transmissions, and following up with IT and external vendors to ensure timely resolution.

[What we are looking for]

Areas of study in Accounting or other relevant professional qualifications
Good analytical skills
Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel
Independent, confident, meticulous, good communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive, good team player, willing to take up challenges and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Strong accounting knowledge
IT programming skills would be an added advantage
Experience in Workday is preferred.

Successful candidate will be employed on an 11-month contract basis. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
