About the Role
We are seeking an experienced technology leader to architect and build the next-generation Autonomous Laboratory Platform, where AI, laboratory automation, robotics, scientific instruments, and digital systems work together to accelerate scientific discovery.
The successful candidate will lead the development of an Autonomous Laboratory Agent Operating System (Agent OS) and AI Agent ecosystem that enables intelligent experiment planning, workflow orchestration, and closed-loop scientific execution.
Key Responsibilities
Autonomous Laboratory Architecture
- Define the technology vision and roadmap for AI-driven autonomous laboratories.
- Design scalable architectures that connect laboratory automation, scientific instruments, data platforms, and AI systems.
- Drive the development of next-generation scientific software and digital laboratory platforms.
Agent OS & AI Agent Development
- Architect and develop the Autonomous Laboratory Agent Operating System (Agent OS).
- Design and implement AI Agents and Multi-Agent Systems for scientific applications.
- Build intelligent capabilities including experiment planning, scientific reasoning, workflow orchestration, knowledge management, and autonomous decision-making.
Laboratory Automation & Physical AI
- Integrate AI systems with robotics, laboratory automation, and scientific instruments.
- Build closed-loop systems that connect AI-generated decisions with experimental execution and feedback.
- Drive interoperability across multi-vendor laboratory ecosystems.
Technical Leadership
- Lead cross-functional teams spanning AI, software engineering, automation, and life sciences.
- Collaborate with global R&D teams, external partners, and strategic customers.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and establish platform strategies.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Master's or PhD in Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, AI, Robotics, Biomedical Engineering, or related disciplines.
Experience
- 8+ years of experience in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, AI, Automation, or Scientific Software industries.
- Proven experience architecting large-scale software or AI platforms.
- Demonstrated leadership in AI-for-Science, laboratory automation, robotics-AI integration, or scientific software development.
AI & Agent Technologies
- Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Agents, and Multi-Agent Systems.
- Experience with RAG, Knowledge Graphs, and Agent workflow orchestration.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, and AutoGen.
- Understanding of MCP (Model Context Protocol).
Laboratory & Automation Systems
- Experience integrating software with laboratory instruments, robotics, automation platforms, or cyber-physical systems.
- Strong understanding of drug discovery, multi-omics, synthetic biology, or related scientific workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building Autonomous Laboratory, AI Scientist, Scientific Copilot, or Agentic Smart Device platforms.
- Experience in Digital Twin, Physical AI, Scientific Foundation Models, or AI-native scientific workflows.
- Experience working in multinational innovation environments.
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset and platform-building capability.

- 推动 AI 与机器人、实验室自动化设备及科学仪器的深度集成。
- 构建连接 AI 决策、实验执行与结果反馈的闭环系统。
- 推动跨品牌、跨平台实验室生态的互联互通。
技术领导力
- 领导覆盖 AI、软件工程、自动化及生命科学的跨职能团队。
- 协同全球研发团队、外部合作伙伴及战略客户推动项目落地。
- 识别和评估前沿技术，制定平台发展策略。
任职要求
学历要求
- 生命科学、生物信息学、计算机、人工智能、机器人、生物医学工程等相关专业硕士及以上学历。
经验要求
- 10 年以上生命科学、生物医药、人工智能、自动化或科研软件相关行业经验。
- 具备大型软件平台或 AI 平台架构设计经验。
- 在 AI for Science、实验室自动化、机器人与 AI 融合或科研软件开发领域具备成功项目经验和技术领导力。
AI 与智能体技术
- 具备大语言模型（LLM）、AI Agent 及多 Agent 系统的实践经验。
- 具备 RAG、知识图谱及 Agent 流程编排经验。
- 熟悉 LangGraph、LangChain、Semantic Kernel、AutoGen 等框架。
- 了解 MCP（Model Context Protocol）。
实验室与自动化系统
- 具有软件与实验室仪器、机器人、自动化平台或信息物理系统的集成经验。
- 熟悉药物研发、多组学、合成生物学等科研流程。
优先考虑
- 具有自主实验室、AI Scientist、Scientific Copilot 或 Agentic Smart Device 平台建设经验。
- 了解数字孪生（Digital Twin）、Physical AI、科学基础模型或 AI 原生科研流程。
- 具备跨国创新环境工作经验。
