Senior Planner**

Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Planner to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and overseeing project schedules for a diverse range of infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and efficient project delivery.
Job Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using industry-standard planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project scope, activities, durations, and resource requirements.
- Conduct critical path analysis and identify potential schedule risks and opportunities.
- Implement and manage project controls, including progress tracking, earned value analysis, and variance reporting.
- Prepare detailed planning reports, forecasts, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and propose mitigation strategies.
- Support the development of tender programs and provide planning input during the bidding phase.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior planning staff.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, company policies, and relevant industry standards.
- Participate in project reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in project planning and scheduling within the infrastructure sector.
- Proven expertise in using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PSP) are highly desirable.
