Asst. Manager - Social Media/Social Media Expert

Ideal Background: Candidates with 3–5 years of dedicated social media experience,
ideally coming from a high-growth D2C/B2B brand or a fast-paced agency background.
Core Focus: Look for a candidate who has strong creative instincts and ability to build
content strategies (hands-on with Reels/AI) but is equally comfortable with data
analytics, social publishing software, and reporting. Good command of British English is
a must.
Red Flags: Candidates who only do scheduling/posting without data/strategy exposure,
or candidates lacking short-form video creation experience.

Key Responsibilities & Scope
1. Strategy & Campaign Execution:
Develop and execute multi-channel social media strategies aligned with brand initiatives,
product launches, and growth targets across all social media platforms.
Manage the master content calendar from ideation to copywriting, asset production,
scheduling, and posting.
2. Content Creation & Short-Form Video:
Conceptualise and produce platform-native multimedia content (Reels, TikToks,
carousels, stories, and graphics) in coordination with design team/agency partner.
Stay ahead of social trends, platform updates, and viral formats to maximise organic
reach.
3. Analytics & Continuous Optimisation:
Monitor, analyse, and report weekly and monthly performance metrics (reach,
engagement rate, CTR, conversion rates, follower acquisition) using tools like Sprout
Social, Meta Business Suite, and Google Analytics.
Conduct A/B testing on posting times, creative formats, and copy variants to continually
elevate ROI.
4. Community Engagement & Paid Social Alignment:
Oversee active community management to ensure brand tone consistency across
comments and direct messages.
Collaborate with performance marketing teams to support paid social initiatives (boosted
posts, Spark Ads) and align organic efforts with paid funnels.
5. Leadership & Vendor Management:
Supervise, mentor, and review the output of social media coordinators, juniors, or
external agency partners.
Lead creator/influencer outreach and management from briefing to performance
tracking.

Qualifications & Technical Requirements
Experience: 3–5 years of dedicated social media management experience in an agency
or corporate in-house setting.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Public
Relations, or related field.
Platform Mastery: Advanced knowledge and proven growth track record across
Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, and Facebook.
Required Toolset:
o Publishing/Analytics: Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Buffer, or Meta Business Suite.
o Creative/Editing: Canva, CapCut, Premiere Pro, or Photoshop/Lightroom.
o Social Listening: Brandwatch, Meltwater, or native trend analysis tools.
Key Soft Skills: Exceptional written communication, eye for design aesthetics, project
management skills, and a data-informed decision-making style.

Someone to lead our day-to-day social media footprint, drive channel growth, and oversee campaign execution across all platforms. In this role, the candidate will bridge high-level marketing strategy with daily execution—managing editorial calendars, guiding community engagement, measuring performance, generating content and supervising junior specialists or agency partners.
