The role
We are recruiting for a Sponsorship Manager within the BEStudio Sponsorship team.
This is a varied, client-facing role that sits at the heart of ITV Commercial, working closely with agencies, clients and a wide range of internal teams to develop and deliver best-in-class sponsorship campaigns.
As Sponsorship Manager, you will lead the end-to-end project management of the sponsorship deals assigned to you, overseeing all elements of campaign delivery across Broadcast, Streaming, Digital, Social, Licensing, Experiential and Product Placement. Acting as the central point of coordination, you will ensure campaigns are delivered seamlessly by bringing together internal stakeholders and agency partners.
You will build strong relationships with clients and agencies, ensuring campaigns are delivered to the highest standard while identifying opportunities to evolve the commercial proposition and deepen brand integration across programmes and sponsorship packages.
You will also act as the commercial ‘Brand Champion’ for the sponsorship opportunities assigned to you, helping to shape how they are positioned in the market and ensuring they are delivered with collaboration, energy and enthusiasm.
Please note that this is primarily a project management and campaign delivery role. While you will work closely with the Commercial Sales team and support sponsorship pitches as required, your core responsibility will be the build, activation, and successful delivery of sponsorship campaigns.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of assigned sponsorship campaigns, ensuring all contractual, operational and administrative requirements are met
- Act as the Brand Champion for assigned sponsorship properties, developing deep expertise in each opportunity, shaping how it is positioned to market, and ensuring it is represented consistently and compellingly across sales materials, client conversations and campaign delivery
- Develop and deliver high-quality sales materials, including presentations and supporting content, to effectively showcase sponsorship opportunities
- Provide best-in-class project management across the full sponsorship lifecycle, delivering campaigns across 360 touchpoints in collaboration with internal and external partners
- Champion sponsorship internally and externally, ensuring the full breadth of ITV’s platforms and audience touchpoints are considered in sponsorship conversations.
- Support teams in pitching sponsorship opportunities to clients and agencies, sharing expert knowledge of assigned properties and presenting campaign results
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key ITV stakeholders including Production, Commissioning, Legal, Finance, Press, Traffic, Marketing and Compliance to ensure seamless campaign delivery.
- Ensure clear communication across internal teams, keeping teams informed of programme developments, scheduling changes or other updates that may impact sponsorship opportunities.
- Proactively identify opportunities to maximise the commercial potential of sponsorship properties, working with relevant stakeholders to develop innovative and market-leading solutions.
- Work closely with the Deputy Sponsorship Controller and Sponsorship Controller to evolve ITV’s sponsorship offering, exploring new formats, market trends and creative opportunities
Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)
- Proven experience delivering sponsorship campaigns from start to finish, including high-value and complex deal parameters.
- Strong client servicing experience, with a proven ability to build and manage senior relationships with media agencies and direct clients
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-value environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage complex campaign delivery and exceed customer expectations
- Proven ability to craft strategic solutions and confidently pitch ideas to clients and agencies, demonstrating creative thinking to navigate complex commercial challenges
- Excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire stakeholders at all levels
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, building meaningful relationships across the wider teams to maximise commercial opportunities.
- Demonstrated creativity and strategic thinking, with the ability to work through complexities and inspire stakeholder confidence.
- Self-motivated with the ability to operate autonomously, exercise sound judgement and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for ITV, its content and the role brands play within sponsorship and commercial partnerships.
