Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and linen rooms.
- Inspect guest rooms and ensure housekeeping standards are consistently met.
- Lead, train, coach, and motivate housekeeping team members.
- Respond to and resolve guest concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Monitor inventory levels of linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
- Conduct monthly linen inventories and maintain accurate records.
- Review Out-of-Order rooms and follow up on maintenance needs.
- Ensure maintenance requests are addressed promptly.
- Monitor and enforce key control procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and departmental procedures.
- Support performance management, employee development, and disciplinary processes when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- The Company operates a twenty-four (24) hour business. Therefore, you may be rostered to work shifts, which may change from time to time.
Required Qualifications
- College degree preferred but not required.
- Minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience, or five (5) years of experience in Housekeeping or Public Areas operations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of housekeeping operations in a high-volume hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of operational and financial management principles.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining high service standards.
