What You'll Be Doing
This is a sales-focused position where your primary responsibility is generating new business and helping customers find insurance solutions that meet their needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
Generate new business through prospecting, outbound calls, lead follow-up, and relationship-building.
Convert opportunities into sales by identifying customer needs, presenting coverage options, overcoming objections, and confidently asking for the business.
Build and manage a sales pipeline by consistently following up with prospective customers and maintaining accurate records.
Recommend and cross-sell insurance products, including Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial coverage, as appropriately licensed.
Develop long-term customer relationships through personalized service, proactive communication, and policy reviews.
Achieve individual sales goals while contributing to the agency's overall growth and production objectives.
Utilize CRM systems to organize leads, track activity, and manage follow-up opportunities.
Participate in ongoing training and development to strengthen product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry expertise.
Success in this position requires initiative, consistency, and the ability to stay motivated in a goal-oriented sales environment.

Qualifications:
Previous sales experience or a proven ability to consistently achieve measurable performance goals.
At least one year of experience in sales, customer service, or insurance preferred.
Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
Confidence making outbound calls, engaging prospective customers, and closing sales.
Ability to handle objections, navigate rejection, and maintain a positive attitude.
Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working toward performance expectations.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple leads and priorities.
Willingness to learn new products, systems, and sales strategies.
Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health insurance licensing preferred, or willingness to obtain required licensing.
Bilingual communication skills are a plus.
