Ready for a Career That Rewards Your Drive?
If you're someone who enjoys talking with people, likes working toward goals, and wants an opportunity to grow professionally, the Holly Benson Agency would love to meet you.
We're hiring an Agent in Training to work with customers, develop new business, and learn the insurance industry from an experienced team. Previous insurance experience isn't necessary. We're more interested in finding someone who is motivated, dependable, and ready to learn.
What Does an Agent in Training Do?
You'll spend your day connecting with people, learning about their needs, and helping them make informed decisions about their insurance coverage.
You'll have the opportunity to:
Work with new leads and connect with prospective customers
Learn how to prepare quotes and explain coverage options
Help clients with Auto, Home, Life, Business, and other insurance products
Follow up with prospects throughout the decision-making process
Develop relationships that turn new customers into long-term clients
Look for additional ways to help existing customers protect what matters to them
Keep your leads and conversations organized through agency systems
Build your sales skills through hands-on coaching and practice
You Could Be a Great Fit If...
You don't need to check every box. We're looking for someone with the right attitude and willingness to develop.
You genuinely enjoy working with people
You're comfortable starting conversations with someone you don't know
Goals give you something to chase rather than something to avoid
You're persistent and don't get discouraged easily
You take feedback well and put it into practice
You're dependable and good at staying organized
You have experience in sales, retail, hospitality, customer service, banking, or another people-focused role
You're willing to complete the insurance licensing required for the position
Already licensed or have previous insurance experience? Even better.
What You'll Have Behind You
Starting in a new industry can be intimidating, so you won't be expected to figure everything out on your own.
The Holly Benson Agency provides training, coaching, and hands-on support as you learn the business and develop your confidence. You'll have opportunities to continue building your skills as you become more experienced.
The position also offers:
Base pay plus uncapped commission potential
Performance-based bonuses and incentives
Ongoing sales and professional development
Paid time off and holidays
A supportive agency environment
Opportunities to take on greater responsibility over time
Long-term career and leadership development
Potential opportunity to pursue Farmers agency ownership in the future
Where Could This Career Take You?
You may be looking for your first opportunity in insurance, or you may already know that sales is where you perform best. Either way, this role gives you the chance to learn a new industry while building skills that can open the door to greater income and responsibility.
For those interested in entrepreneurship down the road, Farmers also offers a development path for individuals who may eventually want to pursue agency ownership.
