Licensing Coordinator

We’re looking for a precise and well-organised Licensing Compliance Coordinator to join Goliath and run the compliance side of our licensing business.
Working across our portfolio of games and toys, you’ll help coordinate the day-to-day relationship between Goliath and our licensing partners. In this role you ensure we meet our obligations under those agreements: every product, pack and piece of marketing approved before it goes out, every royalty report accurate and on time, and every contractual requirement tracked. You’ll work closely with our Product, Marketing, Finance, Sales and Legal teams. You’ll play an important role in keeping projects moving, ensuring approvals happen on time and helping bring licensed products successfully to market.

The Role:
Approvals
- Manage the end-to-end Licensor approval process for products, packaging and marketing materials, from initial concepts and artwork through prototypes, pre-production samples and final production samples.
- Coordinate submissions, feedback, revisions and approvals with Licensors and internal Product, Design and Marketing teams, ensuring all stages are documented and deadlines are met.
- Track contractual approval requirements, compliance obligations and key licensing deadlines, escalating delays or outstanding approvals as needed.
- Ensure no products are produced or shipped, and no marketing materials are published, without the required contractual approvals. Maintain complete and accurate approval records.
- Coordinate product samples, artwork, style guides and brand assets between Licensors and internal teams.
Royalty management
- Review royalty reports for Licensors in collaboration with Finance.
- Track advances, minimum guarantees and payment schedules by agreement, territory and channel, and identify any shortfalls.
Marketing compliance
- Check advertising, social media content, PR and point-of-sale materials against Licensor brand guidelines before submission.
- Ensure the correct legal lines, copyright and trademark notices, and licensing marks appear on packaging and marketing materials.
- Track contractual marketing commitments, including marketing spend and launch support, and report on them to Licensors.
Contract compliance
- Flag upcoming contractual deadlines and obligations to the relevant teams in good time.
- Track Licensor requirements relating to product safety testing, factory audits, insurance and reporting.
- Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day Licensor queries and ensure actions are followed through.
- Work with Legal on contract questions and new agreements.
Requirements

- Persistent and diplomatic when following up on actions internally and with external partners.
- A clear communicator in both written and spoken English.
- A collaborative team player comfortable in a fast-paced international business.
- Interested in brands, games, toys and entertainment.
Experience in licensing, royalty administration, contract management or compliance, ideally in toys, games, entertainment or consumer products, is an advantage. We’re equally interested in someone with the right attitude, organisational skills and willingness to learn.
