Maintenance Assistant Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the maintenance team, setting clear objectives and driving performance, engagement, and capability development.
• Ensure high equipment reliability and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) across packaging operations.
• Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance plans for:
  • Tin can manufacturing equipment
  • PET bottle manufacturing lines
  • Filling, labeling, and end-of-line packaging equipment 
• Manage maintenance activities for multiple packaging, bottling, and pouch production lines to support production targets. 
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, quality enhancement, and cost optimization.
• Ensure spare parts availability and effective maintenance planning to minimize production interruptions.
• Lead packaging-related projects from planning through implementation while achieving agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards. 
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and maintenance standards and regulations. 
• Develop team capabilities, coach employees, and build succession pipelines within the department.
• Manage departmental budgets and monitor maintenance costs to drive sustainable performance improvements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in packaging maintenance, including experience in leadership or supervisory roles. 
• Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices, reliability-centered maintenance, and equipment performance optimization. 
• Experience in FMCG manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
