Salary: $80,000 AUD excluding superannuation. Commission and additional bonuses available.

The ICT Business Development Manager identifies and generates new business opportunities for Assure's membership app

platform, improving market share and brand awareness by understanding the technical and commercial needs of retail and

commercial partners - promoting Assure's app-enabled membership solutions to meet those needs. The role focuses on acquiring

new retail and commercial partners rather than managing existing accounts, and may take on management of select key accounts

as they mature.

Position Tasks:

Qualify lists of prospective users of the application and partner businesses using directories, referrals, and other sources.
Acquire and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Assure's app platform, membership offerings, and competitors' warranty/protection products and market conditions.
Engage prospective users and partner businesses to establish and act on opportunities to onboard Assure's membership app and warranty program.
Assess prospective partners' business and technical and operational needs and explain how Assure's app-based membership platform and integration options meet those needs.
Promote Assure's app development roadmap and membership product suite to existing and prospective partners, positioning the platform as an integrated solution rather than a standalone product.
Quote and negotiate commercial terms, credit arrangements, and contracts, and finalise partner agreements and onboarding schedules.
Coordinate the delivery, app integration, point-of-sale setup, and staff training required to launch the membership program with new partners.
Report to sales and commercial management on new business secured, pipeline status, and the market performance of Assure's app and membership offerings.
Follow up with new and existing partners to confirm satisfaction with the app and membership program, arranging modifications and resolving issues as they arise.
Prepare sales reports and maintain records of business development activity and associated expenses.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g. business, law, marketing, ICT), or at least 5 years' relevant business development / ICT sales experience in lieu of formal qualification.
Demonstrated experience generating new business for technology, software, or app-based platforms sold as business solutions to corporate or enterprise clients.
Experience using consultative or needs-based sales methodologies (e.g. MEDDICC, Miller Heiman) to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
Strong contract negotiation and proposal/tender preparation skills.
Ability to explain app functionality and technical integration requirements clearly to non-technical retail and enterprise stakeholders.
Proficiency with CRM, telephony and sales tooling (e.g. Salesforce, or equivalent).
Ability to work across silo’s effectively, including but not limited to: Marketing, Operations and CX.
