As a Business Analyst Intern, you will join Accor’s newly created B2B Sales & Care department. Its objective is to maximize the conversion and revenue potential of B2B Booking opportunities, while also providing strong and sustainable Customer Care support to our B2B clients.
You will work closely with Sales Executives, Account Managers, and Business Developers to understand business activities, analyze performances, and identify opportunities to improve processes and commercial effectiveness.
Your role will combine data analysis, reporting, business process analysis and project support. You will help the team build a strong understanding of its business, improve the quality and visibility of its data, and translate insights into concrete actions.
Your mission:
Data Analysis & Business Reporting
- Support the creation and maintenance of regular B2B Group Booking performance reporting.
- Analyze key KPIs such as signed opportunities, conversion rate, and pipeline value.
- Contribute to YTD, YoY and target performance analysis.
- Monitor performance by different projects and dimensions such as market, country, hotel, segment, event type and group size.
- Translate data into clear and actionable insights for the B2B management team.
- Potentially help develop and improve dashboards and visualizations in Tableau and other reporting tools.
- Support ad-hoc analyses and business questions raised by stakeholders.
Process & Business Improvement
- Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and customer experience.
- Document existing processes and contribute to the creation of clear business procedures and knowledge documentation.
- Help identify opportunities to automate, simplify or standardize recurring activities.
Commercial & Operational Support
Work with the different Sales teams to understand how B2B Booking opportunities are managed from lead reception through conversion.
Analyze the activity and productivity of different teams and populations.
Contribute to understanding where opportunities are lost, delayed or not fully converted.
Support initiatives designed to increase the value captured from incoming B2B demand.
Support the different Sales teams in the qualification, treatment and conversion of B2B opportunities.
Project Support
Participate in cross-functional projects involving Sales, IT, Data, Hotels, and other internal stakeholders.
Prepare presentations, analysis and recommendations for meetings with stakeholders.
Follow up on action plans and project deliverables.
Help structure and document new processes as the B2B Booking organization continues to develop.
Qualifications
And you?
Languages
Fluent in written and spoken English and French.
Education
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Previous experience in business analysis, data analysis, consulting, sales or project management is a plus.
Technical Skills
Strong Excel skills and an interest in data analysis.
Comfortable working with large datasets and identifying patterns or inconsistencies.
Interest in BI and visualization tools, particularly Tableau.
Ability to structure and present data in a clear and meaningful way.
Comfortable preparing PowerPoint presentations and communicating insights visually.
