Clean Harbors located in La Porte, TX is seeking a Pumping Technician to add to the team. The Pumping Technician for La Porte TX will be responsible for completing all assigned warehouse duties in a safe and responsible manner. This position will wear C level PPE and work with the pumping team to pump drums. Will work in QC for chemicals, operating forklifts, manual labor, and inventory.Shift: 6:30am-3:00pm. Monday-Friday. Overtime and Saturdays as needed
Pay: $21 DOE

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
- Load and unload route trucks;
- Wear level C PPE;
- Manual labor of drum washing;
- Pumping drums;
- Working with chemical profiles to identify matches to tankers;
- Uses forklifts routinely to sort pallets and unload;
- Uses camlock and hardlines to connect/disconnect tankers;
- Manage inventory order and receiving process;
- General housekeeping and keeping a clean work area;
- Ensure waste is stored in safe and proper manner;
- Resolve issues with materials in conjunction with office team staff;
- All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent required;
- Experience working in C Level PPE preferred;
- Experience working with chemical profiles preferred;
- Experience and familiarity with Excel, Word, etc;
- 2+ plus years of related labor and computer experience;
- Ability to drive trucks within facility;
- Forklift skills preferred- or willing to learn.
