Job Responsibilities:

As an Account Executive, you will be finding new business opportunities and delivering sales in Japan, making sure that our customers and partners constantly get the full value of Genetec products and services.

You will be working in the field, closely with our customers and partners, making sure that you are there as a business partner and consultant for them, ensuring our common success in projects. You will handle accounts on a daily basis, acting as a professional interface between the accounts and Genetec globally.

This position is based in Tokyo and will have a requirement to travel domestically with some international travel as well.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to effectively increase market share.
• Lead client presentations and product demonstrations, showcasing our comprehensive solutions.
• Develop and execute local sales and account plans to meet KPIs and exceed revenue targets.
• Be accountable and the key point of contact to our valued partners and customers to support their ongoing current and future needs.
• Identify, qualify, and build a pipeline of leads and project opportunities.
• Manage inbound and outbound calls in a professional and customer focused manner.
• Work with the regional sales management and the marketing teams to deliver and support targeted campaigns and activities across your territory including participating in trade shows, partner and distributor, and Genetec events.
• Building strong rapport and trust with our existing and new partners.
• Work and collaborate efficiently with the local and broader Genetec teams to meet the requirements and needs of our customers and our business.
• Build and nurture relationships with high-priority clients and industry stakeholders.
• Utilize CRM tools to manage leads, opportunities, and client interactions effectively.
• Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and strategic recommendations to management.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our product offerings, industry landscape, and market conditions.
• Conduct market research to identify potential leads and drive sales initiatives. Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline or relevant experience
• Experience in an Account Manager focused sales role or similar role
• Experience preferably in a technical sales position from the IT and/or Physical Security industries, will be advantageous
• Driven, proactive, and self-motivated team player
• Has good organizational skills, and able to handle multiple priorities
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Be a team player, flexible and collaborative by nature
