Executive - Health, Wellness, Beauty & Homeware
ROLE SUMMARY
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Executive to support the growth and performance of the Health, Wellness, Beauty & Homeware category. Working closely with the Category Manager and Assistant Category Manager, the role will be responsible for product data management, new product listings, supplier coordination, trend research, reporting, and ensuring successful product launches while delivering an engaging customer experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date product information for all assigned Health, Wellness, Beauty & Homeware SKUs.
- Verify and validate supplier submissions, ensuring all required product information, attributes, pricing details, barcodes, images, and supporting documents are complete and accurate.
- Coordinate the end-to-end process for new product listings, including gathering information, obtaining approvals, SKU creation, and system setup.
- Proactively follow up with suppliers and internal stakeholders to obtain outstanding information and meet agreed timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of new products, product replacements, temporary delistings, discontinued items, and approved product changes.
- Ensure product, pricing, and promotional information is accurately maintained across relevant systems.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Stores, and suppliers to ensure stock availability for new product launches and promotional activities.
- Monitor new product launches and maintain an organized pipeline of upcoming category initiatives.
- Conduct ongoing research on emerging Health, Wellness, Beauty & Homeware products, brands, and consumer trends.
- Monitor competitor activities, product ranges, and market developments to identify category opportunities and recommendations.
- Prepare reports, maintain trackers, and support category reviews through accurate data analysis and insights.
- Support supplier engagements, promotional planning, and category development activities as required.
- Ensure all assigned tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and within agreed timelines while demonstrating strong ownership and accountability.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Qualification in Marketing, Business Management, Retail Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Category Management, Buying, Merchandising, Retail Operations, FMCG, Beauty, Wellness, Health, Homeware, or a related commercial environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience in product data management, SKU administration, supplier coordination, and reporting will be an added advantage.
- Strong commercial awareness with an interest in consumer products, market trends, and retail operations.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Passion for Health, Wellness, Beauty & Homeware products and emerging consumer trends.
