The beautiful, recently re-flagged Curio Collection by Hilton, Zachari Dunes on Mandalay Beach is looking for a dynamic Director of Banquets! Just a few steps away from the beach, the 250-all-suite resort offers a breathtaking view of the ocean. Our hotel boasts over 23,000 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor event space and features two unique food and beverage outlets - Ox & Ocean and Sugar Beats.
The Ideal Candidate will possess:
- 3-5 years of leadership experience in a lifestyle brand hotel, resort, or luxury restaurant food & beverage operations.
- Proven ability to manage a fast-paced dining room and lead a team with calm efficiency and authority.
- Strong training knowledge and comfort guiding team members through ongoing training.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to spot, correct, and coach on the smallest service elements.
- Outstanding organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Hands-on leadership style: leads from the floor, not from the office.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
