Growth Marketing Country Lead - Executive Director

As we continue to grow and expand, we’re looking for a passionate Growth Marketing Lead within the International Consumer Bank, you will serve as the senior in-market growth leader, accountable for defining and delivering the full local growth plan — from first customer touch through onboarding, activation, engagement, and product deepening. You will bring together data fluency, martech partnership, and cross-functional leadership to drive measurable outcomes across the customer funnel. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role at the intersection of strategy, performance, and execution — where your decisions directly shape the trajectory of a growing digital bank in your market.

Job responsibilities

Own the end-to-end growth strategy and operating plan for your market, setting clear goals and key performance indicators across the full customer funnel — from awareness and application through activation, retention, and product adoption
Define market-level performance rhythms, funnel analytics, and cohort measurement frameworks; translate insights into prioritized test-and-learn roadmaps that drive continuous improvement
Partner with the central Media organization to shape local acquisition strategy, refine cost-per-acquisition targets, conversion goals, and quality guardrails, and deliver efficient new-to-bank growth
Build and optimize lifecycle marketing programs across onboarding, activation, engagement, retention, and cross-sell — leveraging behavioral, transactional, and preference data within regulatory and consent boundaries
Design and evolve local referral and incentive strategies aligned to global frameworks, building business cases that balance economics, customer impact, and risk controls
Serve as the in-market growth representative to the central Marketing Technology Platform team, translating local requirements into clear capabilities, use cases, and roadmap priorities
Collaborate with Product teams to embed growth loops, conversion improvements, and upsell surfaces directly into the app experience — removing friction and improving customer outcomes
Partner with Legal, Risk, and Compliance to enable marketing velocity while meeting regulatory, conduct, and customer communication standards
Lead and develop an in-market growth team or matrixed resources, fostering a high-performance, experimentation-led culture across lifecycle, growth strategy, and local execution
Communicate performance, insights, and investment recommendations to senior leaders with clarity — highlighting outcomes, learnings, risks, and trade-offs

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on marketing concepts and extensive years of experience
Proven track record defining and delivering growth outcomes in a digital-first consumer business — such as ecommerce, fintech, marketplace, subscription, or mobile-first products — with strong measurement discipline across cost-per-acquisition, funnel conversion, activation, retention, and product adoption
Demonstrated experience partnering with centralized media buying and execution teams to shape acquisition strategy and drive performance optimization
Deep data fluency, including the ability to lead with cohort analysis, funnel diagnostics, experimentation design, incrementality concepts, and clear key performance indicator definitions
Martech proficiency — ability to define capability requirements, influence platform roadmaps, and partner with central platform teams to deliver tools and journeys that enable growth (platform ownership not required)
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated ability to align cross-functional teams — including Product, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Technology — in complex, highly governed environments
Experience building and scaling lifecycle marketing programs across owned channels such as push notifications, in-app messaging, email, and SMS

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Experience supporting the launch or scaling of a digital consumer product in a new market
Experience designing and optimizing referral and incentive programs, including economic modeling and controls
Experience marketing regulated financial products and operating within consent and privacy frameworks
Experience partnering with product teams to improve in-app conversion and engagement through structured experimentation
Familiarity with investment or wealth product marketing alongside core banking products
