This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced contingent workforce leader to shape how a global organization builds and manages its flexible workforce across APAC.
In this highly visible regional role, you will partner closely with the Director, Global Contingent Workforce and senior leaders across the business to define and execute workforce strategies that support growth, agility, and operational excellence.
You’ll bring deep knowledge of APAC markets to the global strategy while leading programs across China, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and future expansion markets. You will have the opportunity to influence global program design, strengthen regional capabilities, develop talent, and build scalable solutions for a complex and evolving business.

What you’ll do
Shape APAC and Global Workforce Strategy
- Serve as a strategic partner to the Director, Global Contingent Workforce, bringing an APAC perspective to global workforce strategy and program development.
- Translate regional business needs, labor-market dynamics, and regulatory requirements into actionable workforce solutions.
- Help shape global initiatives while ensuring solutions are relevant and effective across diverse APAC markets.
- Partner with global colleagues to strengthen processes, governance, reporting, and best practices across regions.
- Monitor emerging workforce trends and changing market conditions to help the organization anticipate future talent needs.
- Contribute to long-term workforce planning, organizational design, and capability-building initiatives.
- Champion a One Global Program approach that combines global consistency with the flexibility needed to succeed in local markets.
Lead the APAC Contingent Workforce Program
- Provide strategic leadership for contingent workforce programs across China, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and future APAC markets.
- Develop and execute regional workforce strategies aligned with evolving business priorities and growth.
- Build scalable operating models that can respond effectively to both rapid expansion and changing business cycles.
- Act as a trusted leader and escalation point for complex workforce issues across the region.
Partner With Senior Business Leaders
- Work closely with senior leaders to understand business priorities and translate workforce requirements into effective solutions.
- Build trusted partnerships across HR, Procurement, Legal, Finance, and regional leadership.
- Bring together data, market intelligence, and industry insights to influence workforce decisions.
- Represent the Contingent Workforce function in senior regional discussions and help leaders navigate complex workforce decisions.
Drive Program Excellence
- Strengthen the consistency and effectiveness of contingent workforce programs across APAC.
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes, introduce automation, and improve the stakeholder and worker experience.
- Lead regional governance, compliance, and risk-management activities.
- Establish meaningful KPIs and service measures that create transparency, drive accountability, and support continuous improvement.
Lead Supplier Strategy
- Build strategic partnerships with key workforce suppliers across APAC.
- Lead Quarterly Business Reviews and supplier performance discussions.
- Assess supplier capabilities, workforce availability, and evolving market conditions.
- Partner with suppliers to improve quality, speed, service, and overall workforce outcomes.
Develop People and Regional Capability
- Lead, coach, and develop a geographically dispersed team.
- Strengthen the capabilities of country program managers and emerging leaders.
- Create meaningful development opportunities and succession plans.
- Build a culture where people collaborate across countries and functions, take ownership, and continuously look for better ways of working.
Who we’re looking for
- Contingent workforce/program management experience
- Experience operating across multiple APAC countries, ideally including IndiaLeadership experience with geographically dispersed teams
- Senior stakeholder and cross-functional partnership experienceSupplier/vendor management experience
- Knowledge of contingent workforce governance, compliance, and risk
- Experience using data and workforce insights to guide decisions
- Experience leading operational transformation, process improvement, or automation
- Education and years of experience required for the level
Preferred qualifications
- Semiconductor industry or global supplier experience is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, or PRINCE2.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
