As we continue expanding throughout the Western United States, we're looking for a talented, resourceful and highly organized Marketing & Events Manager to lead our internal marketing initiatives, elevate our brand presence and create meaningful opportunities to connect with clients, prospects and industry leaders.
The Opportunity
We're looking for a hands-on marketing professional who knows how to turn strategy into action.
This role will oversee MassMedia's internal marketing programs, brand communications, content initiatives, industry events, sponsorships and marketing campaigns. A significant part of the position will involve planning and executing events.
The ideal candidate is a creative thinker, exceptional organizer and natural relationship builder who thrives on bringing people, ideas and experiences together.
You'll work closely with agency leadership, internal teams and external partners to strengthen MassMedia's brand, support new business development and deliver exceptional events and marketing programs.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Brand Management
- Execute MassMedia's annual marketing plan, supporting brand awareness, thought leadership and new business growth.
- Manage integrated marketing campaigns across email, social media, content, PR, events and other channels.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging, positioning and visual identity across all agency marketing initiatives.
- Coordinate marketing materials, agency credentials, presentations, case studies and promotional collateral.
- Support marketing initiatives for our industry practice groups and expansion into new markets.
- Identify strategic partnerships, sponsorships and promotional opportunities that elevate MassMedia's visibility.
Event Planning & Management
Serve as the primary owner of MassMedia's events and experiential marketing initiatives, from concept through post-event evaluation.
- Plan, manage and execute all MassMedia-hosted events
- Develop event concepts, themes, programming, timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate speakers, panelists, moderators, sponsors, vendors and event partners.
- Manage venue logistics, catering, audiovisual production, invitations, registration, signage and event materials.
- Oversee event marketing and promotional campaigns to drive attendance and engagement.
- Manage event sponsorship fulfillment and partner communications.
- Coordinate on-site setup, event staffing, guest experience and execution.
- Develop post-event communications, recaps, follow-up campaigns and performance reports.
- Evaluate event success based on attendance, engagement, relationship development and business opportunities.
Content Marketing & Communications
- Manage MassMedia's editorial calendar, coordinating blogs, newsletters, case studies and thought leadership content.
- Work with agency leaders and subject matter experts to develop relevant, engaging content.
- Oversee quarterly agency newsletters and other email communications.
- Coordinate internal social media content planning and approvals.
- Partner with the PR team to identify opportunities to promote MassMedia's expertise, leadership and agency news.
- Maintain and update website content in coordination with internal and external technical resources.
New Business & Practice Group Marketing
- Collaborate with agency leadership to develop marketing initiatives that support business development.
- Coordinate targeted campaigns, prospect engagement initiatives and industry-specific marketing programs.
- Support MassMedia's practice groups with content, events, partnerships and promotional activities.
- Identify relevant conferences, industry associations, networking opportunities and sponsorships.
- Help create compelling marketing materials and outreach campaigns for prospective clients.
- Track marketing activities and help evaluate their contribution to lead generation and business growth.
Marketing Operations & Vendor Coordination
- Manage marketing calendars, project timelines, budgets and deliverables.
- Coordinate external marketing specialists, including freelance CRM and marketing automation support.
- Work with technical partners to execute email campaigns, manage contact lists, maintain registration systems and support lead tracking.
- Coordinate with website developers and other vendors as needed.
- Monitor marketing performance and prepare regular updates for agency leadership.
- Maintain marketing project plans and workflows in Monday.com.

Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, event management, brand marketing or integrated marketing communications.
- Demonstrated experience independently planning and executing professional, corporate or industry events.
- Strong understanding of traditional and digital marketing channels.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and stakeholders.
- Exceptional writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience coordinating vendors, sponsors, agencies or external partners.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage event budgets and logistics.
- Ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- A proactive, resourceful and solutions-oriented approach.
