Role Overview
To support our ambitious mandate, we are seeking a savvy, experienced marketer to enhance our internal marketing capabilities, elevate NUSX’s programmes globally, and co-create new propositions for the global startup community. You will play a pivotal role in practising the latest marketing know-how to ensure our marketing strategies align with our mission of turning discoveries into high-impact ventures.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Paid Media & Brand Development: Oversee and execute comprehensive paid media campaigns across regional and global channels. Interpret the central brand guide and ensure its consistent application, utilising strong performance analysis to optimise media planning and maximise ROI.
- Content Creation & Adaptation: Develop and adapt content customized to the unique traits of diverse platforms and target audiences. Exhibit a deep sensitivity to media consumption patterns, ensuring messaging resonates effectively - whether it is LinkedIn outreach, a newsletter, or community engagement.
- Event Management: Assist with the execution of high-impact events and experiential marketing initiatives. Engage founders, investors, and ecosystem partners to drive brand resonance and foster community growth.
- Building AI Architecture: Design, implement, and manage AI-driven marketing infrastructure. Leverage artificial intelligence and modern marketing technology stacks to automate workflows, personalise stakeholder engagement, and generate data-driven marketing insights.
- Budget Management: Effectively manage the marketing budget, ensuring the optimal allocation of resources to achieve strategic marketing objectives and strong campaign performance.
Requirements
This role is best suited for a generalist who has deep specialisation in one or two relevant skills. You are analytical and creative, enjoy approaching challenges from different angles to capture the public's attention innovatively. You are highly conversant across various communication channels, thrive in a dynamic environment where change is constant, can grasp complex business needs, and are able to quickly adapt marketing activities to suit shifting market trends. Very importantly, you must write well, be able to articulate your thoughts very clearly and pitch your ideas confidently.
Technical Competencies
- Degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing, preferably with a startup or tech company.
- Proven track record in executing regional marketing initiatives and end-to-end paid media campaigns.
- Demonstrated experience in event management, from conceptualisation to execution.
- Familiarity with building or implementing AI marketing architecture, automations, and advanced marketing technology tools.
- Strong business acumen and a solid understanding of the startup development landscape in Singapore and the broader region.
