Join our Sales department as a Field Account Manager and play a key role in driving commercial success across a portfolio of selected Biopharma accounts in Belgium. Through strategic account management, business development activities, and close customer collaboration, you will help accelerate the adoption of innovation solutions that support better health for more people.Based from home in Belgium, with customers primarily located in the Wallonia region, you will manage customer relationships across your territory while working closely with internal stakeholders. The role includes regular national travel and occasional international travel.
Grow With Us – Your Responsibilities
- Promote the Sartorius portfolio of products and services within your assigned territory and accounts to achieve sales and revenue targets
- Identify new business opportunities aligned with our overall market and growth strategy
- Actively use Salesforce (SFDC) to manage and document leads, opportunities, customer interactions and sales activities, ensuring customer and opportunity information is accurate and up to date
- Analyze SFDC data for assigned customers to identify trends, generate customer insights and track sales performance
- Drive newly launched innovative products and services into the marketplace and proactively follow up on the successful implementation of sales activities
- Assess and analyze customer needs, generate leads, respond to customer inquiries and suggest appropriate products and services
- Develop and implement account plans and coordinate the resources required to deliver against them
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to strengthen market perception and develop successful strategies to gain business within accounts
- Coordinate and participate in marketing activities within the assigned territory
- Frequently assess the potential of each customer and develop plans to convert this potential into business
- Manage and build strong customer relationships to develop long-term partnerships
What Will Convince Us
- Academic degree in Life Sciences or Engineering; a higher level of education would be beneficial
- Minimum 3 years of field sales experience, preferably combined with laboratory or process-based experience in Life Science
- Hands-on knowledge and proactive use of Salesforce (SFDC) and other CRM tools
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, energetic and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and take strong ownership and responsibility
- Good teamwork skills with a proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently
- Proven software skills, including Microsoft Office
