We are recruiting an experienced and commercially driven Social Media & E-commerce Sales Specialist to join a growing UK-based technology business.
The company supplies IT hardware, refurbished technology and digital solutions to schools, businesses, charities and public-sector organisations across the United Kingdom.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who combines strong digital marketing expertise with hands-on e-commerce management, creative design capabilities and a genuine passion for generating sales.
The ideal candidate will not simply create content but will understand how to use social media, digital campaigns and online platforms to attract customers, generate qualified leads and increase revenue.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management & Digital Marketing
Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with business growth and sales objectives.
Create, schedule and publish engaging content across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and other relevant platforms.
Plan and execute LinkedIn marketing campaigns targeting UK schools, educational institutions and businesses.
Design professional graphics, promotional materials, advertisements and multimedia content.
Maintain a consistent brand identity across digital channels.
Develop and manage monthly content calendars.
Monitor social media engagement, campaign performance and lead generation.
Identify opportunities to increase brand visibility and customer acquisition.
E-commerce Management
Take ownership of the company's online store and day-to-day e-commerce operations.
Manage product listings, descriptions, images and promotional content.
Maintain an organised, professional and user-friendly online shopping experience.
Update website content, product information and promotional campaigns.
Support website design, layout improvements and content management.
Identify opportunities to improve customer engagement and online sales conversions.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate product information and effective online promotions.
Track e-commerce performance and identify opportunities for revenue growth.
Sales & Lead Generation
Generate qualified sales opportunities through social media and digital marketing activities.
Develop campaigns targeting B2B customers, including schools, businesses and public-sector organisations.
Convert digital enquiries and customer interest into commercial opportunities.
Work closely with the sales team to support lead generation and revenue targets.
Identify new markets, customer segments and digital sales opportunities.
Monitor campaign performance against measurable sales and lead-generation objectives.
Creative Design & Website Management
Create professional visual content using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools.
Produce multimedia content for social media, marketing campaigns and the e-commerce platform.
Support website design and content updates using Shopify, WooCommerce or similar platforms.
Ensure digital content is visually appealing, accurate and commercially effective.
Recommend improvements to website presentation, usability and customer experience.
Essential Requirements
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in social media management and e-commerce.
Demonstrated experience managing an online store or e-commerce platform.
Strong experience developing and executing LinkedIn marketing campaigns.
Proven ability to generate leads, enquiries or sales through digital marketing.
Hands-on experience with Shopify, WooCommerce or comparable e-commerce platforms.
Strong graphic design and multimedia content creation skills.
Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software.
Experience creating and managing content calendars.
Good understanding of B2B marketing and commercial sales objectives.
Ability to manage website content and undertake basic web design activities.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects independently.
Commercially minded, proactive and results-driven.
Comfortable working remotely during UK business hours.
Advantageous Experience
Experience within IT hardware, technology distribution or IT reselling.
Previous experience marketing products or services to UK customers.
Experience targeting schools, educational institutions or public-sector organisations.
Experience working in a digital marketing agency or online retail business.
Knowledge of Microsoft 365.
Demonstrable experience increasing online sales, improving conversions or generating B2B leads.
Experience independently managing digital marketing and e-commerce operations.
