JOB PURPOSE

The purpose of this position is to provide technical leadership and guidance in the design, implementation, representation, and quality assurance of World Vision's education programming across development, humanitarian, and fragile contexts. The role supports the delivery of high-quality, evidence-informed education programmes that improve learning, protection, well-being, and resilience for vulnerable children and adolescents.

The position provides technical oversight across World Vision's education portfolio, including Early Childhood Development, Foundational Learning, Integrated School Programming, Adolescent Learning and Lifeskills, Education in Emergencies, and Education Systems Strengthening, while bringing demonstrated technical depth in one or more of these areas.

The role ensures programmes are aligned with national education priorities, global evidence and standards, assessment and M&E frameworks, and World Vision technical approaches. It works collaboratively across sectors—including Child Protection, Health, Nutrition, Mental Health and Psychosocial Support, and Economic Development—to promote integrated programming that addresses barriers to learning and supports holistic child development.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to design, implement, and strengthen inclusive formal and non-formal education programmes; build organizational and partner capacity; support evidence generation and learning; contribute to resource mobilisation, and represent World Vision with governments, donors, technical partners, and inter-agency coordination mechanisms.
