Job Description
We are looking for a Commis Chef to join our talented kitchen team at Benugo Savill Garden.
As a Commis Chef, you will support the kitchen brigade in preparing and delivering fresh, high-quality food while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and presentation.
Key responsibilities:
- Assisting with the preparation and production of food across all kitchen sections.
- Ensuring food is prepared and presented to Benugo standards.
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health & safety practices.
- Supporting stock rotation and correct storage procedures.
- Keeping work areas clean, organised, and well-maintained.
- Working closely with the wider team to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
- Learning and developing culinary skills under the guidance of senior chefs

Qualifications
- Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential.
- A genuine passion for food and hospitality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Understanding of basic food hygiene principles.
- Flexibility to work weekends, bank holidays, and peak seasonal periods.
