ABOUT THE ROLE
The position is a fast-paced role at the sharp end of the business helping deliver Arduino’s ambitious growth targets for APAC
You’ll be part of the APAC team, with a key focus on protecting existing revenue for key accounts, identifying and winning new customers as well as working closely with global sales colleagues in Asia to make sure we give our business and end customers a consistently brilliant experience that keeps them coming back for more.
What you’ll be accountable for:
- Full account management responsibilities of key accounts in Asia
- Identifying and developing new customers in APAC for Arduino
- Identifying up-sale and cross-sale opportunities whilst protecting existing revenue of key customer accounts.
- Providing operational support to BDM & Sales Director and your customers with onboarding, quotations and order processing.
- Resolving a variety of issues for our customers throughout APAC, in a timely manner and delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Liaising with customers to provide post-order support for all sales orders.
- Being the first point of contact for business customer enquiries via phone and email
- Inside sales roles conducting potential new customer calls and visits
- Managing customer profiles, issues, escalations and resolutions through our Enterprise Resource Planning system, and SAP, our Client Relationship Management system.
- Working with vendors and colleagues in Operations, Supply Chain, Purchasing and Credit departments to resolve customer issues at top speed and with minimum fuss.
- Supporting business build with projects, systems testing and process enhancements
- Prepare Sales Update, reports, analytics and presentations

Essential knowledge, skills and experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience of Inside sales, customer service & supporting function to senior managers in Sales & Marketing role
- Working in a regional or global role with experience of dealing with customers from different countries and cultural backgrounds.
- Working knowledge of Client Relationship Management (CRM) software and Netsuite (ERP) systems.
- Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office – especially excel & powerpoint
- Proficient in English language speaking and writing – ability to speak English fluently
Desirable knowledge, skills and experience:
- Experience in electronics distribution industry as an Inside sales and sales coordinator role is preferred.
- Knowledge and experience of Single Board Computing and IoT with a passion for electronics
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of Sales Operations or related work experience.OR
Associate's degree and 4+ years of Sales Operations or related work experience.
OR
High School Diploma or equivalent and 6+ years of Sales Operations or related work experience.
*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
