About the Position
As a Senior Account Manager Telecommunication Services & Technology at T-Systems, you will actively shape the digital transformation of leading telecommunications companies. You will serve as a strategic partner to our clients at the executive level, responsible for developing and expanding long-term customer relationships. Leveraging your expertise in Solution Selling and deep understanding of telecommunication solutions such as SD-WAN, 5G, and IoT, you will identify and unlock new business potential. You will lead complex sales processes, guide interdisciplinary deal teams, and successfully negotiate high-value contracts. A crucial part of your role involves positioning innovative AI-driven transformations and translating cutting-edge technologies into tangible business value for our clients. Your strategic thinking, strong presentation skills, and pronounced closing strength will be pivotal for your success and that of our customers.
Must-Have Skills
- Proven Key Account Management
- Expertise in Solution Selling
- In-depth understanding of telecommunication solutions (e.g., SD-WAN, 5G, IoT)
- Confident contract negotiation skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent networking abilities
- Demonstrated closing strength
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with CRM systems, especially Salesforce
- Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Prince2) or strategic sales
- Initial exposure to or knowledge in positioning AI-based solutions (e.g., Generative AI, Intelligent Automation)
- Strong negotiation skills beyond pure contract negotiation
- Additional language skills are a plus
