Sr. Medical Laboratory Scientist - Clifton, NJ, Tuesday to Saturday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Department: Clinical Laboratory - Microbiology General
Pay range: $33.81 - $55.81 / hour; employee may be eligible to receive shift differential of 10% for some or all hours worked on second shift and 15% for some or all hours worked on third shift. Additional details on shift differential will be provided if an offer is extended.
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

The Senior Medical Technologist is proficient in all principle duties of a Medical Technologist I and II. This Subject Matter Expert (SME) is responsible for complex laboratory testing and has broad decision-making authority and independence. The Senior Med Tech is required to provide technical direction to staff regarding complex and non-routine testing and is a source of contact of inquiries from clients or sales representatives. The Senior is responsible for investigating and resolving analytical testing problems and recommending course of action. The Senior is responsible for training and development of staff under the direction of the Supervisor in accordance with the appropriate federal, state and local guidelines.
