Your Opportunity
Your role will include participating in regional business development activities and leading teams to prepare report submittals and coordinating cultural resources fieldwork for various programs for clients including archaeological survey, testing, evaluation, and construction monitoring, report and section writing, as well as other tasks as assigned. Must demonstrate awareness for workplace safety; and be willing to work independently when conditions are appropriate or with limited supervision. You will work closely with Stantec's resource group leader to help with growth of the cultural resources program. This position will be based in our Bellevue Washington office.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Manage tasks and projects according to approved scopes of work, and deliver quality reports on schedule and within budget
- Completing QA/QC on deliverables
- Contribute to and lead business field efforts across the geographic region
- Interact and interface with clients and environmental regulators
- Contract document preparation, including detailed design drawings and specifications, and project permitting
- Participate in Health, Safety and Environment (HSSE) Policies, Procedures, Standards and Guidelines in the execution of all work
- Provide supervision, training, technical direction and mentoring to more junior staff
- Review work of junior staff
- Applies technical and business knowledge and methods to develop creative, effective, and economical solutions to address current and potential project issues
- Provide oversight of project delivery, quality control, technical quality, documents quality, and best practices in the execution of work.
- Proactively identify opportunities to reinforce and further develop Stantec’s high-performance culture with a focus on innovation, speed, and productivity.
