Staff Accountant

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for performing accounting tasks. This position is responsible for preparing journal entries, monthly bank reconciliation’s, related accounting schedules and maintaining the fixed assets ledger. Promote Family Style Service through actions and positive attitude.

HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY

Processes journal entries.
Prepares monthly reconciliation on accounts.
Prepares inter-company billing sheets and documentation.
Maintains fixed assets and depreciation of accounts.
Produces monthly financial statements including budget variance reports.
Prepares tax reports as assigned.
Assists with special projects as assigned by management.
Coordinates the quarterly reconciliation of 1099 information and the annual preparation of these documents.
Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same.
Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities.
Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
Ensure the safety and security of all guests and team members.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.
Other duties as assigned or any reasonable request from any member of management.
