2027 Summer Intern at Tokyo office
The program is scheduled to take place over 8 to 10 weeks between June and August 2027.
Participants will be engaged in actual client projects and take part in case work as part of their experience.
Please note that this program is an integral part of our full-time hiring process, and a decision regarding a full-time offer will be made upon completion of the program.
What You'll Bring
We are looking for candidates who meet all of the following criteria:
No Full-time Work Experience
No prior full-time work experience, whether before, during, or after undergraduate or graduate studies
Internships and part-time jobs are not included
Academic background
Currently enrolled in universities or graduate schools outside Japan, with a graduation date between January 2028 and December 2028.
Note: This excludes study-abroad programs as part of university enrollment in Japan (e.g., exchange programs, short-term language studies, double-degree programs, second master's degrees). If you are currently enrolled in universities in Japan, please visit here for more information.
Language proficiency
Business-level English or higher.
Business-level Japanese or higher (JLPT N1 or equivalent).
Regarding Previous Applications
Applicants who have taken an online test or interview for the BCG Japan 2027 Summer Intern position within the past six months are not eligible to apply for this selection process.
Application Restrictions
Candidates may apply for either the Summer Associate or Full-time Associate position, but not both.

※For those attending the 2027 London Career Forum, interviews will be held on-site. For those not attending, interviews will be conducted online.
