The Lead Test Engineer provides strategic leadership and daily execution oversight of lab operations to ensure test equipment and environment readiness. Typical lab operations include:
- Design, deployment, and maintenance, of test equipment.
- Procuring equipment from external suppliers.
- Installing, servicing, or modifying lab utilities (i.e., electrical, pneumatic, LN2, etc.)
- Coordinating activities and resources at external test facilities.
- Supporting root cause and corrective action for test equipment or test articles.
The Lead Test Engineer also serves as a focal for customers and leadership regarding test environment design, status, strategic direction, and improvement opportunities.
