As a Sr Advanced Software Engineer-Embedded C/C++ here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be responsible for supporting the design, development, and implementation of advanced systems including hardware, software, and network components. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system solutions meet quality standards and customer requirements, contributing to innovative and efficient technology solutions.

In this role, you will impact the successful deployment and operation of complex systems that enhance safety, productivity, and efficiency for our customers across various industries.

You will report directly to our Sr Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule. Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, develop, and maintain software applications for aerospace systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications
Support embedded software development using C++ code
Follow established processes and guidelines to support project software lifecycle for the projects assigned to DO-178
Conduct software testing and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables
Travel: up to 10%
Relocation support may be provided
