Work Schedule:
100% FTE. Mix of AM/PM shifts. Shifts vary from 6:30 AM to 10:00PM. 1 in 4 weekend required, with a holiday rotation. Occasional overnight coverage. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician Specialist to:
- Be an exceptional teammate, taking the initiative to jump in and help without being asked.
- Prepare and distribute pharmaceuticals, perform inventory control, compliance audits, and financial transactions, provide excellent customer service, and maintain pharmacy records.
- Have a high level of accountability to the work. You must be self motivated and driven to complete the work in a timely manner to achieve our goals of high quality patient care.
The ideal candidate will have prior hospital experience. Certification is preferred, but not required.

Qualifications
- No minimum education Required
- Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program Preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred
Work Experience
- 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician, completion of accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program, or completion of second year of pharmacy school. Required
Licenses & Certifications
- Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration Upon Hire Required
- Must possess a current, valid driver’s license issued by the individual’s state of residence. Must be at least 21 years old or have a minimum of three (3) years of driving experience to operate a Personal Vehicle, Patient/Visitor Vehicle, or standard UW Health Fleet Vehicle. Upon Hire Required
- Certified Pharmacy Technician Preferred
