The Opportunity
The AI & Automation Specialist will support the development and adoption of AI-enabled solutions, automation, tools and ways of working that improve efficiency, consistency and quality across WTW’s Western Europe Corporate Risk and Broking business. The role will support both bid management and the wider sales function, with an initial focus on opportunities that improve proposal delivery. Working closely with Bid Managers and Sales Operations leadership, the role will help translate operational challenges into practical solutions.
In addition to supporting the development of AI solutions, the role will provide day-to-day support to the Western Europe bid management community. This will involve maintaining shared knowledge and repositories, helping colleagues access high-quality content, and completing the ongoing administration, content management and maintenance required to keep AI and automation tools accurate, current and effective. Over time, this support will extend more broadly across sales as priorities and opportunities become clearer.
Key responsibilities include:
Support the identification and assessment of opportunities to apply AI, automation and other technologies across bid management and the wider sales function, with an initial focus on improving the efficiency and quality of the bid lifecycle.
Develop AI and automation solutions for bid management and broader sales needs, including research, prototyping, testing, piloting, deployment, maintenance and continuous improvement.
Follow WTW policies, data protection requirements, information security controls and quality standards to support the safe and responsible use of AI, escalating questions or concerns where appropriate.
Gather feedback and performance information from bid management and sales users to help identify and implement improvements to tools and processes.
Support adoption of developed tools by preparing practical guidance, training materials and communications, and by helping colleagues use approved AI and automation tools confidently and effectively.
Maintain and administer structured European repositories of approved bid and sales content, templates, tools and best-practice resources. This includes routine content updates, version control, data housekeeping and other general administration to help ensure that AI and automation tools draw on relevant and up-to-date content.
