Senior Data Scientist
We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist with 5+ years of professional experience and a strong background in machine learning, to join an international team combining AI/Data Science expertise with Marketing Strategy capabilities.
The successful candidate will play a key role in consolidating and further developing a long-standing project and collaboration that has been running for several years. The role involves ensuring continuity across existing activities while identifying opportunities to evolve and improve the analytical and machine learning solutions delivered.
The candidate will lead the delivery of advanced machine learning solutions for marketing, including Marketing Mix Modeling, Price Elasticity and Forecasting, while coordinating and mentoring a team of 4+ Data Scientists.
Working in close collaboration with colleagues from the Marketing Strategy team, the Senior Data Scientist will help bridge the gap between business strategy and technical implementation, translating marketing objectives into effective, data-driven solutions. The role combines hands-on technical development with team coordination, cross-functional collaboration and project delivery responsibilities.
The candidate will also support the Technical Project Manager in managing timelines, priorities and deliverables, ensuring alignment between technical activities, marketing needs and project objectives.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of professional experience in Data Science / Machine Learning.
- Strong experience developing and applying machine learning models to marketing and business problems.
- Solid knowledge of data analysis, data preprocessing and feature engineering.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Hands-on experience with PySpark and the development of data processing pipelines.
- Experience in end-to-end delivery of Data Science projects.
- Strong interest in marketing and curiosity about how data and AI can support marketing strategy and decision-making.
- Experience coordinating or mentoring Data Scientists.
- Excellent English proficiency, as English is the primary language used in the day-to-day working environment.
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and non technical teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience of Machine Learning applied to Marketing Sector
- Experience with Databricks and Power BI.
