Job Summary
The Single Rear Axle Water Truck Driver will operate and maintain the water truck for various construction, dust control, and other related projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of water to designated sites, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
Essential Functions
- Operate a single rear axle water truck safely and efficiently.
- Transport and distribute water to construction sites, roads, and other designated areas for dust control, compaction, and other project needs.
- Conduct basic maintenance checks, such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and lights, and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies within and outside of location (if necessary).
- Maintain accurate logs of water usage, mileage, and service records.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatchers, and site personnel.
- Keep the truck clean and organized.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
