About the Role

We're looking for a Head of Growth Marketing to lead and scale Arize's growth engine across enterprise demand generation, field marketing, digital acquisition, and product-led growth.

This is a highly visible leadership position responsible for building predictable pipeline while expanding our reach among developers, AI engineering teams, and enterprise technology buyers.

Arize has both a sales-led enterprise business and a developer-led self-serve business. We need someone who understands how to grow both, and how they reinforce one another.

You'll inherit an established field marketing team, partner closely with Product Marketing and Marketing Operations, and help build the systems that turn awareness and engagement into pipeline, product adoption, and revenue.

We're looking for a strategic leader who is equally comfortable analyzing funnel performance, developing a go-to-market strategy, and getting into the details of campaign execution.

What You'll Do

Own pipeline growth and demand generation

• Build and execute an integrated growth strategy that drives qualified enterprise pipeline and revenue.
• Own marketing-sourced pipeline targets and performance across acquisition channels.
• Lead integrated campaigns spanning paid media, digital channels, events, partnerships, and lifecycle marketing.
• Partner with Sales and Revenue Operations to improve conversion, attribution, pipeline quality, and campaign effectiveness.
• Develop a rigorous experimentation and measurement framework to understand which investments generate the greatest impact.

Lead field marketing and regional growth

• Manage and develop the Americas and Rest of World Field Marketing teams.
• Build regional programs that generate pipeline and deepen relationships with enterprise buyers and technical communities.
• Partner with Sales leadership to align events, executive programs, and regional campaigns with account priorities.
• Measure field marketing effectiveness through qualified engagement, pipeline creation, influence, and progression.

Drive digital acquisition and organic growth

• Own the broader digital acquisition strategy across paid, organic, search, and AI-driven discovery.
• Lead a dedicated SEO/AEO and Web Growth specialist responsible for technical discoverability and website optimization.
• Partner with Content and Product Marketing on search visibility, category authority, and high-intent acquisition.
• Improve website conversion across demo requests, self-serve signups, and other high-value actions.

Build the marketing side of product-led growth

• Develop acquisition and lifecycle programs that grow adoption of Phoenix and Arize AX.
• Own marketing-led signup growth, onboarding communications, re-engagement, and self-serve acquisition experiments.
• Work closely with Product and Engineering to identify opportunities to improve activation and free-to-paid conversion.
• Establish shared PLG metrics and a cross-functional experimentation roadmap.

Build a high-performing growth organization

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of marketers across demand generation, field marketing, and digital growth.
• Build efficient processes for campaign planning, execution, testing, and reporting.
• Manage budgets and make investment decisions based on performance and business impact.
• Partner with Content, Brand, PMM, Marketing Engineering, Product, and Sales to execute coordinated programs.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, including significant ownership of demand generation, growth marketing, or pipeline generation.
• Experience leading growth at a developer tools, infrastructure, AI, or technically sophisticated SaaS business.
• Proven ability to build and scale marketing-sourced enterprise pipeline.
• Experience with both sales-led growth and self-serve or product-led acquisition.
• Strong analytical skills and experience using funnel data, attribution, experimentation, and conversion metrics to drive decisions.
• Experience managing paid acquisition, integrated campaigns, lifecycle marketing, and field marketing programs.
• Working knowledge of SEO, AEO, website conversion, and organic acquisition strategies.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Ability to work closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where leaders are expected to be hands-on.

Nice to Have

• Experience marketing to AI engineers, developers, platform engineers, or enterprise AI leadership.
• Experience growing open-source communities or converting developer adoption into commercial demand.
• Familiarity with AI observability, evaluation, LLMs, and agent development.
• Experience working across both enterprise and digital-native customer segments.
• Experience with HubSpot, GA4, product analytics, and modern marketing attribution tools.

What Success Looks Like

In your first 6–12 months, you'll have:

• Built a measurable, repeatable pipeline generation engine aligned with Sales goals.
• Improved campaign, channel, and field marketing performance.
• Established clear ownership and reporting for digital and organic acquisition.
• Increased qualified self-serve signups and improved the marketing-controlled portions of the PLG funnel.
• Built a growth experimentation program with clear priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Developed a team that consistently connects marketing activity to business results.

The estimated annual salary for this role is between $225,00 to $275,000, plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is determined based upon a variety of job related factors that may include: transferable work experience, skill sets, and qualifications. Total compensation also includes a comprehensive benefit package, including: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, unlimited paid time off, generous parental leave plan, and others for mental and wellness support.
