The Role
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Sales Manager – Implants to lead and grow our implant business in Ankara.
In this role, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets, developing and coaching the sales team, strengthening relationships with key dental professionals and identifying new opportunities for sustainable market growth. You will represent the Straumann brand with a strong focus on customer value, commercial excellence and long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership
Develop and execute the Ankara sales strategy to achieve and exceed sales targets for Straumann implant solutions.
Lead, coach and motivate the sales team to deliver individual and team objectives.
Monitor sales performance, pipeline quality and forecast accuracy; provide clear action plans where needed.
Drive a high-performance culture focused on accountability, customer value and commercial discipline.
Ensure effective territory coverage, customer segmentation and resource allocation.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key dental professionals, clinics, dental laboratories and other strategic customers in Ankara.
Understand customer needs and propose tailored Straumann solutions.
Partner with key opinion leaders, educational institutions and dental associations to build brand preference and loyalty.
Ensure a high-quality customer experience across the sales journey.
Market Growth and Business Development
Identify new business opportunities, high-potential customers and growth segments to increase market share.
Develop plans to retain and recover at-risk customers.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities and changes in the dental industry to make informed commercial decisions.
Work closely with Marketing and Education teams to execute targeted promotional campaigns, clinical education and customer-development initiatives.
Drive portfolio penetration and cross-selling opportunities across implants, biomaterials and digital solutions.
Product and Technical Excellence
Maintain a strong understanding of Straumann Group’s implant portfolio, clinical applications and customer value proposition.
Ensure the sales team is equipped with the necessary product knowledge, selling tools and technical support.
Support customers in selecting appropriate solutions and coordinate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Planning and Reporting
Prepare regular sales reports, market updates, business forecasts and recommendations for senior management.
Contribute to annual budgeting, target setting and strategic planning.
Use customer and sales data to identify performance gaps, growth opportunities and required corrective actions.
Your Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Dentistry or a related field; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
Proven sales and sales-leadership experience, ideally in the dental, medical device or healthcare industry.
Knowledge of dental products, implantology and digital dentistry is a strong advantage.
Demonstrated ability to develop teams, manage performance and deliver commercial results.
Strong customer relationship management, negotiation and influencing skills.
Analytical ability to assess market trends, sales performance and business opportunities.
Fluent in Turkish and English.
Willingness to travel within Türkiye and occasionally internationally.
