About the Role

Our Customer Success Engineers play an important role in onboarding new customers and ensuring successful adoption of the platform. Together with the Customer Success Manager, you will ensure a smooth onboarding process for the technical implementation of the ArmorCode SaaS platform. You will work closely with Product Management and Engineering to make sure feature requests are developed to meet customer use cases. You will also use AI hands-on in your day-to-day work, building automations and AI-assisted workflows that make onboarding and integrations faster, more repeatable, and more consistent across customers.

What You'll Own

Strategic Customer Engagement

• Act as a trusted advisor to customers and internal teams, providing feedback to accelerate and prioritize delivery.
• Identify technical and business requirements, aligning solutions with customer needs to drive value and exceed expectations.
• Serve as the main point of contact throughout the customer journey, working with the CSM on a success plan with clear outcomes and keeping communication effective across executives, business owners, and operational teams.

Technical Implementation and Integration

• Accelerate time to value (TTV) through short deployments, working with the Development team to find the best setup for each customer's integration needs.
• Oversee and support technical implementation tasks for new customers.
• Build and maintain scripts and automations (Python, APIs, and LLM-assisted workflows) that make onboarding, integration setup, and configuration validation repeatable.
• Use AI tools to speed up implementation work, such as mapping customer tool landscapes to integrations, drafting implementation plans, and generating configuration and API scripts, and review everything before it reaches a customer.

Product Adoption and Insights

• Drive adoption of our product and solutions, using data to give 360-degree insight into current status and progress, from baseline customers to enterprise upsells.
• Build relationships within assigned customers to support and execute their strategy and solutions roadmap.
• Identify risks early, build and execute "get well" plans, and define critical success factors and success metrics.
• Use AI-assisted analysis of usage and onboarding data to spot adoption gaps and stalled deployments early, and turn them into specific next steps.

AI Enablement

• Help customers adopt and get value from the platform's AI-driven capabilities, and bring their feedback to Product and Engineering.
• Build reusable assets (prompt libraries, scripts, onboarding templates, playbooks) and share them so the whole Customer Success team gets faster.

Exceptional Customer Experience

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience through proactive communication, effective use of internal resources, and customer enablement resources that support business goals.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Liaise between product management, engineering, marketing, and the customer, communicating product and strategic roadmaps and generating insights that influence company and customer action.

Training and Knowledge Management

• Drive training initiatives, maintain a training record, and keep your own knowledge current.
• Participate in answering level one support questions and contribute to building and updating the knowledge base for internal and external use.
• Use AI to accelerate drafting of implementation guides and enablement content, with human review for accuracy.

Data Management and Hygiene

• Keep customer data up to date across all platforms, and regularly verify the hygiene of new and existing data so it stays usable.

Who you are

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a technical customer-facing role such as Customer Success Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Implementation Engineer, or similar, with a cybersecurity background.
• Knowledge of the mission and practices of Customer Success functions.
• Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS), preferably at a security software company.
• Python scripting experience, including using APIs for workflow automation.
• Hands-on experience using LLMs or generative AI tools in technical work such as scripting, automation, integration work, or technical documentation, including effective prompting.
• Practical judgment about AI limits: you validate outputs, recognize hallucinations, and protect customer and confidential data when using AI tools.
• Knowledge of Single Sign-on (SSO), Okta, and similar identity providers.
• Experience in technical troubleshooting (product, software, etc.).
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, a coding bootcamp, or equivalent work experience is a strong plus.
• CISSP, CISM, OSCP, or PMP is a strong plus.
• Plus: experience building automations that call LLM APIs, or working with agentic or workflow tools.
