Location: Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane

• The opportunity
• Reporting to the Chief People, Performance & Capability Officer, you’ll lead our Doctor & People Experience portfolio across culture, engagement, organisational development, learning, leadership and internal communications.

You’ll build on work already underway, bringing clear priorities and the judgement to focus effort where it will make the greatest difference. Partnering with executive, operational and clinical leaders, you’ll strengthen how we attract, develop and retain our people, and how we support them to contribute their best.
 

Leading a specialist team, you’ll connect the experience of working at I-MED with the outcomes we need to achieve: stronger capability, effective leadership, sustainable performance and great patient care.

What you’ll lead

• Culture and engagement initiatives that translate feedback into meaningful action and leadership accountability.
• The evolution and delivery of our employee value proposition, making sure what we promise reflects what people experience.
• Learning, leadership and capability programs that address business needs and help people grow.
• Doctor attraction, development and retention pathways, working closely with clinical and operational leaders.
• Internal communications that build understanding, connection and confidence through change.
• Improvements across the doctor and employee lifecycle, from joining I-MED to developing a rewarding career.

Across this portfolio, you’ll make deliberate choices about priorities and investment, measure what changes and adapt where needed.

• About you
• You combine a sharp commercial mind with warmth, curiosity and sound judgement. You can understand the numbers, recognise the human story behind them and use both to make better decisions.

You’re comfortable working with senior leaders and clinical professionals, building trust while asking the difficult questions. You know when to challenge, when to listen and how to bring people with you.

You’ll bring:

• Significant leadership experience across people experience, culture, organisational development, engagement or capability.
• A record of delivering initiatives that improve both people and business outcomes, ideally across a dispersed, frontline workforce.
• Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to assess priorities, make trade-offs and demonstrate the value of investment.
• The credibility to influence at executive level and build productive partnerships with operational and clinical leaders.
• Experience leading specialist teams and delivering change in complex environments.
• Clear communication, personal accountability and the persistence to turn good intentions into results.
