WEDDING CAPTAIN

Job Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of wedding servers at catering and banqueting events. He/She will also be responsible for planning, preparing, and executing wedding activities with a goal of ensuring that guests have a favorable experience.

Responsibilities:

Coordinating, and overseeing the setup and service of all wedding functions
Inspecting room setups to ensure proper presentation and standards are being met
Working to improve standards of wedding presentation and service to maximise client and attendee satisfaction
Ensuring strict sequence of service with respect to timing, coordinated delivery and clearing of food and beverage
Guiding and coaching team members in wedding events service standards

Qualifications:

High School Leaving Certificate/Diploma
Food Handler's permit
A minimum of three years' experience in fine dining restaurants and ability to maintain the highest level of standards
