Working within Commercial Residential

As Tribe Lead CVP & Brand Positioning, you set the direction for the Customer Value Propositions and multi-brand positioning of our residential brands: Telenet, BASE, TADAAM, Telenet Entertainment brands such as Play Sports, and Eltrona in Luxembourg. You bring together market, customer, competitor, pricing, product and technology insights and translate them into clear portfolio choices, distinctive propositions, robust business cases, and short- and long-term roadmaps.

You maximise the value and competitiveness of the entire brand portfolio. You clarify the role of each brand and ensure an effective handover to the commercial tribes, which remain responsible for go-to-market, campaigns, channels, journeys and commercial results.

You report to the Chief Commercial Officer, Residential & SOHO and lead a team of Product owner(s), CVP Managers and experts.

Define the tribe strategy and multi-brand positioning

• You define and communicate the tribe’s mission, strategy, outcomes, priorities and roadmap, aligned with the long-term portfolio and market segmentation strategy.
• You steer the allocation of customer segments and market spaces across the brands, make overlaps and potential cannibalisation transparent, and identify new opportunities.
• You translate strategic choices into a clear CVP narrative and directional portfolio recommendations.

Build a strong fact base for decision-making

• You integrate market and competitor analysis, benchmarks, customer needs, willingness to pay, pricing, segmentation, and product and technology trends.
• You ensure a consistent fact base and determine when further analysis is required.
• You steer relevant success metrics, including portfolio competitiveness, market share by brand, brand awareness, brand preference, NPS, lead time and business-case realization.

Lead CVP design, line-up and business casing

• You are ultimately accountable for the quality and coherence of Customer Value Propositions across the brands.
• You steer the definition of the offer, features, pricing intent, benefits, reasons to believe and concrete line-up.
• You ensure that business cases substantiate customer value, market impact, financial feasibility, risks and expected value, and are ready for decision-making.

Drive roadmaps, lifecycle management and value creation

• You develop and prioritize short- and long-term roadmaps for the full portfolio.
• You oversee the CVP lifecycle, monitor market response and performance, and initiate timely optimisation or repositioning.
• You connect long-term choices with actionable recommendations and an approved roadmap for the tribes involved.

Embed governance and cross-tribe collaboration

• You represent the tribe in Value Streams, business reviews and relevant strategic governance forums.
• You create alignment with B2C Strategy & Business Steering, Corporate Strategy, Data Acceleration, Product, Finance and the commercial tribes.
• You safeguard clear decision rights between CVP definition and multi-brand positioning on the one hand, and commercial execution on the other.

Build a high-performing tribe

• You lead Product owner(s), CVP Managers and experts and build a diverse, collaborative and results-oriented tribe.
• You take responsibility for workforce planning, talent management, knowledge continuity, engagement and development.
• You manage capacity, priorities and the workforce budget, and develop shared CVP methodologies, standards and best practices.

• A Master’s degree or equivalent through experience.
• Extensive relevant experience in strategy, portfolio, proposition, product or commercial management, including experience in a senior leadership role.
• Experience in the Belgian telecom, entertainment or digital sector.
• Proven experience in people leadership and in leading cross-functional teams within a complex matrix organisation.
• Strong expertise in customer and market insights, multi-Brand Positioning, CVP design, business casing, pricing and roadmap management.
• A strong strategic vision and helicopter view, combined with decisiveness and accountability.
• A data- and financially driven mindset, with the ability to turn complex information into clear choices.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills at senior management level.
• Learning agility, resilience and a strong can-do mentality.
• Professional proficiency in Dutch and English; French is a strong asset.
