Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Team Leader to oversee the upkeep and maintenance operations of our prestigious mansion property in Udaipur, India. In this role, you will lead a dedicated team of maintenance professionals, ensuring the property is maintained to the highest standards while managing day-to-day operations efficiently and effectively.
- Supervise and coordinate a team of maintenance staff, providing clear direction, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities
- Plan, schedule, and oversee all routine and preventive maintenance activities across the mansion property
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and areas requiring immediate attention
- Manage maintenance budgets, track expenses, and optimize resource allocation to ensure cost-effective operations
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services and repairs
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent quality and efficiency
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment servicing
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, health standards, and property management protocols
- Address maintenance emergencies promptly and implement corrective actions as needed
- Communicate effectively with property management and stakeholders regarding maintenance status and operational updates
- Train team members on proper maintenance techniques, equipment usage, and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Proven experience (minimum 3-5 years) in facilities management, property maintenance, or building operations
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing and supervising maintenance teams
- Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment maintenance, and general upkeep procedures
- Proficiency in maintenance planning, scheduling, and resource management
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in maintenance management software and basic computer applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance requirements in facilities management
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a dynamic environment
- Physical capability to perform site inspections and hands-on maintenance work when necessary
- Preferred: Experience with heritage or luxury property maintenance
- Preferred: Budget management and vendor coordination experience
