As Commercial Partner Lead for Enterprise Partner Sales (EPS) Austria, you will shape and drive Microsoft’s enterprise partner business in Austria, bringing together strategic partners, customers and Microsoft sales teams to accelerate growth, platform adoption and AI-led transformation.

As a member of the Austria Leadership Team, you will represent the enterprise partner ecosystem in the country’s commercial strategy and execution, ensuring partners are an integral part of how Microsoft creates customer impact and grows the business.You will provide commercial leadership and cross-functional direction across the Partner Development Managers (PDMs) and broader partner organization supporting Austria, aligning priorities, orchestrating resources and driving shared accountability around the customers and opportunities that matter most.

Success in this role requires leadership through influence. You will create clarity across organizational boundaries, mobilize teams behind common priorities, challenge the status quo and turn Microsoft’s partner ecosystem into a multiplier for customer transformation and sustainable growth.

Lead the Enterprise Partner Business in Austria

• Own and drive the enterprise partner strategy and commercial priorities for Austria.
• Represent the partner ecosystem within the Austria Leadership Team, bringing the partner perspective into country strategy, planning and execution.
• Identify where partners can make the greatest impact across strategic customers, industries and transformation opportunities.
• Drive partner-led pipeline creation, co-sell, consumption, revenue and customer adoption.
• Establish clear priorities and a operating rhythm across partners, opportunities and investments.
• Ensure the partner ecosystem is embedded in the most strategic customer opportunities from the outset.

Lead Through Influence and Orchestration

• Provide commercial leadership and direction across the PDM community and broader partner organization supporting Austria.
• Create alignment across Enterprise Partner Sales, Account Teams, Solution Areas and other key stakeholders around shared customer and business priorities.
• Connect Austrian market opportunities with regional and global partner capabilities, resources and investments.
• Build commitment and shared accountability across organizational boundaries.
• Influence stakeholders and translate strategy into coordinated execution.
• Act as a connector and challenger, ensuring the right partners are engaged in the right opportunities at the right time.

Accelerate AI and Frontier Transformation

• Shape and mobilize the Austrian ecosystem around Microsoft’s AI, cloud and Frontier Transformation priorities.
• Work with strategic partners to develop differentiated AI, agentic, industry and transformation capabilities.
• Accelerate the journey from experimentation and pilots toward scalable enterprise transformation and measurable customer outcomes.
• Work with partners to build capabilities, services and solutions that differentiate Microsoft and its ecosystem in the market.
• Identify new opportunities where partners can unlock transformation beyond traditional technology implementation.

Drive Sales With and Through Partners

• Make partners a systematic part of Microsoft’s enterprise sales execution.
• Connect partner capabilities with customer demand and strategic opportunities.
• Build executive relationships across Global System Integrators, Enterprise System Integrators, Advisory and Consulting partners, ISVs and other strategic ecosystem players.
• Drive joint account planning, co-sell and go-to-market execution around priority customers and opportunities.
• Develop repeatable partner motions that create pipeline, accelerate transformation and scale across the Austrian market.
• Bring together Microsoft and partner executives when leadership engagement can unlock or accelerate strategic opportunities.

Drive Execution Excellence

• Establish disciplined business planning and governance across the partner portfolio.
• Focus resources, investments and leadership attention on the partners and opportunities with the greatest potential impact.
• Use business insights and data to identify opportunities, remove blockers and accelerate execution.
• Maintain proper alignment between Austrian market priorities and the broader Microsoft partner organization.
• Create transparency and accountability around pipeline, execution and business outcomes.Ensure partner investments translate into measurable customer and Microsoft impact.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or related field AND extensive related experience, including coaching solution sales and account development strategies, exceeding quotas by leading sales teams along complex sales cycles through a partner ecosystem and centralized marketing engine, Global, Area-level Business Management as a leader of Sales, Customer, Partner teams selling technology solutions/practice development, cloud/Infrastructure technologies, and/or subscription services, sales leadership, or managing high performance sales and technical-sales teams
  • OR equivalent experience.
• Experience in developing commercial strategy and translate it into execution, pipeline and measurable business outcomes.
• Deep understanding of enterprise customers, cloud, AI and digital transformation, and how technology and partner ecosystems can drive business value.
• This role requires fluency in German and English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Global System Integrators, System Integrators, Advisory and Consulting firms, ISVs and other strategic enterprise partners.

Segment Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Austria is € 105,100.00 - € 177,100.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
