Area Sales Manager

The Area Sales Manager is responsible for market development, customer acquisition, sales execution, and marketing support for HKP products within the assigned territory. This role focuses on expanding business with existing customers, identifying new opportunities, providing technical and commercial support, and supporting digital and trade show marketing activities to grow brand exposure and generate qualified leads.

The Area Sales Manager will work closely with customers, internal sales, engineering, operations, and marketing teams to support order fulfillment, customer satisfaction, sales growth, and implementation of company sales strategies.

What You Will Do:

Develop the market for HKP products within the assigned territory and support achievement of sales targets.
Identify and acquire new customers while expanding business opportunities with existing customers.
Understand customer needs and provide customized product and solution recommendations.
Conduct regular visits with key customers to maintain and strengthen customer relationships.
Assist customers with product selection, technical questions, and pre-sales consultation.
Prepare quotations, support contract negotiations, coordinate contract signing, and assist with payment collection.
Resolve pre-sales and after-sales issues to help ensure customer satisfaction.
Support content operation and daily maintenance of the company website, WeChat Official Account, and other digital platforms.
Plan and execute online promotional activities, including technical whitepaper downloads, webinars, product PR activities, and other lead-generation initiatives.
Collaborate with the marketing team on SEM/SEO optimization, advertising placement, and performance monitoring.
Support exhibition planning, booth coordination, material preparation, and on-site execution for industry trade shows.
Collect and organize sales leads, coordinate with the sales team on follow-up, and help ensure timely response and conversion opportunities.
Collect market and industry information, monitor competitor activity, and report key findings to company management.
Participate in the planning and execution of sales activities within the assigned territory.
Work closely with internal teams to support order fulfillment and customer requirements.
Support implementation of company sales strategies.
Provide regular reports on sales activity, market dynamics, customer opportunities, and related business matters.
Demonstrate the ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and cost efficiency, while critically evaluating AI-generated outputs.

What We Are Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree or above required. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Automation, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of five years of sales experience in industrial automation, electromechanical equipment, linear motors, servo motors, or related industries.
Experience selling linear motors, stepper motors, or similar products preferred.
Experience working in foreign-invested enterprises and familiarity with multinational corporate workflows preferred.
Strong English reading and writing skills required; oral English communication skills preferred.
Strong electromechanical technical knowledge, marketing and sales knowledge, and understanding of economic law and contract law.
Strong sales capability, technical capability, communication skills, presentation skills, and negotiation skills.
Ability to understand customer needs and provide technical and commercial solutions.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, customer requirements, and business opportunities.
Willingness and ability to travel as required.
