Production Operative Raw Materials

Dispensing and compilation of all required materials for batch manufacturing instructions to allow for production of batches on a daily basis.

Ensure all stock levels and locations are maintained.

Ensure all issues and receipts are recorded.

Ensure stock audits are carried out as required.

Ensure Raw Materials operations are carried out at an effective efficiency standard to assist in the production schedule being achieved.

Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are closely adhered to and any necessary changes are notified to the Raw Materials Storekeeper.

Promote and participate in a continuous improvement culture in support of high morale throughout the business.

To be actively involved in communication and the suggestion and introduction of improvement initiatives.

To satisfy Health, Safety and Environment and Quality standards.

To ensure that recommendations to plant, equipment and working practices are suggested and effectively communicated to management.

To resolve day to day problems and carry out Housekeeping.

To work to ISO9001 and ISO14002 standards.

To ensure that appropriate protective clothing is worn at all times in designated areas.

To undertake appropriate training as required for the duties required by the post.

To be flexible in approach to working patterns, shift working rota required.

To be flexible in approach to duties undertaken.

Any other duties as designated from time to time within the remit of the post.

To ensure that our internal customers are served with all materials in the most efficient and effective manner in order to satisfy customer requirements whilst maintaining the OTMIS goals for the department. Operating with the annualised hour’s calculation with full flexibility to meet the demands of the business. Your role will provide an integral part to the success of the Raw Materials dispensing team. Duties are (but not exhaustive):- Recipe assembly / fulfilment, MHE* activities (*subject to appropriate held licence), P.I. Checks & Annual Financial stock checks, computer literate* (* training will be given on the use of equipment.) Allocation to other departments may also be required to meet business requirements. You will be able to work safely, with an eye for quality whilst maintaining a good level of output, in addition you will be expected to follow all Health & Safety requirements for the site at all times.
