Job Summary
- • Assist in the management and optimization of transportation and logistics operations, including freight forwarding, route planning, and carrier management.
- Support the development and implementation of transportation and logistics strategies.
- Help with negotiating contracts and rates with logistics service providers, carriers, and other relevant parties.
- Assist in implementing policies and procedures that comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with supply chain stakeholders such as suppliers, warehouses, and internal teams.
- Monitor the performance of transport providers and assist with implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Analyze logistics data and suggest improvements based on findings.
- Help manage and resolve logistical issues that arise.
- Assist in ensuring safety and compliance in all transportation activities.
- Prepare regular updates and reports on logistics operations for senior management.
Key Responsibilities
- • Basic Knowledge of Supply Chain.
- Basic Knowledge of Supply Chain logistics /transportation and Analytical tools.
- Ability to perform basic tasks based on SOP/ direction from supervisor.
- Ability to communicate with client, internal teams and suppliers.
- Knowledge of MS Office.
- Good Communication Skills.
