Connect Care. Remove Barriers. Improve Outcomes.

At Health Advocate, Patient Navigation goes beyond traditional call-center service. This is a high-volume, phone-based patient support role where you’ll help patients understand important healthcare next steps, overcome barriers to care, and feel supported throughout the process.

We are seeking Temporary Patient Navigators who can communicate with compassion, understand detailed processes, and quickly build trust with patients during sensitive healthcare conversations.

If you're looking for an opportunity to make an impact in healthcare while taking advantage of flexible scheduling options, we'd love to hear from you.

Temporary Opportunity | Flexible Shift Options

This is a temporary, remote position with flexible scheduling options available based on business needs.

We are looking for candidates who can provide dependable coverage during their agreed-upon working hours. Specific schedule availability and options will be discussed during the interview process.

Please note: Flexibility in available shift options does not mean on-demand scheduling. Once your work schedule is established, consistent attendance and availability during those agreed-upon hours are essential.

We believe in giving candidates a realistic picture of the job before they apply.

This position may be a great fit if you:

What the Work Looks Like

A significant part of your day will involve proactively contacting patients by phone and helping them navigate important healthcare next steps.

For example, you may speak with patients who have received a positive test result and need support understanding and navigating the next steps toward completing a colonoscopy.

These conversations can involve personal and sensitive health information. You'll need to make patients feel comfortable, listen carefully, explain processes clearly, and establish trust quickly.

Your goal isn't simply to make a call. It's to help a patient move forward.

Patient Outreach & Navigation

You will:

Organization & Follow-Through

Patient needs may not be resolved in a single conversation. You'll be expected to:

Privacy & Compliance

Because you'll work with confidential patient information, attention to privacy and accuracy is critical.

You will:

Working Remotely

While this opportunity is remote, the work requires your full attention during scheduled working hours.

You should have an appropriate workspace that allows you to conduct confidential patient conversations professionally and without distractions.

Remote work provides flexibility in where you work, but you'll still be expected to be available, engaged, and productive throughout your established schedule.

Who Will Thrive in This Role?

You'll likely enjoy this work if you can balance empathy with productivity.

You're someone who can pick up the phone repeatedly throughout the day and still make the person on the other end feel like more than another call.

You can take complicated information and make it understandable. You can listen to someone's concerns without losing sight of the action that needs to happen next. And when an issue isn't resolved immediately, you stay organized and follow through.

Most importantly, you're comfortable having conversations that matter.

Ready to Make an Impact?

If you're comfortable with high-volume outbound calling, sensitive healthcare conversations, the $18/hour rate, and consistently working an agreed-upon schedule, we encourage you to apply.

Help make healthcare easier to understand and navigate, one patient conversation at a time.
